TPMS Light Still On After Tyre Service? Here’s What to Do
If your TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) light is still on after we’ve visited—don’t worry, it’s quite common.
While our technicians always aim to reset the system after a puncture repair or tyre replacement, some vehicles require additional steps that can’t always be completed on-site. For example, certain systems only reset after driving or require access through your vehicle’s settings.
  • Why Is the TPMS Light Still On?
Different vehicles use different reset methods, including:
    • Driving at a steady speed to allow the system to recalibrate
    • Manual reset via dashboard controls or infotainment system
A common method is driving at around 40 MPH for 20–30 minutes, which helps the system relearn tyre pressure based on rolling resistance.
